Tad O’Had Named 2007 Dick Vraa Memorial Award Winner at 12th Annual Athletic Republic Facility Conference

Fargo, ND.  May 5, 2007 – Tad O’Had, Director of Operations and Co-Director of Hockey Operations for BlueStreak Sports Training in Stamford, Connecticut and Hauppauge, New York, was named the 2007 Dick Vraa Memorial Award Winner at the 12th annual facility conference held in Dallas, Texas, recognizing him as an Outstanding Network Member.

The Annual Dick Vraa Memorial Award is peer nominated, and awarded by President, John Frappier.  It is given to those outstanding individuals who most closely represent the qualities of Mr. Vraa, who possessed a tireless work ethic and a passion for learning and teaching. Dick’s kindness and genuine commitment to kids and athletes helped them achieve their goals in their chosen sports.  

The success and growth that the BlueStreak facilities have enjoyed over the past few years, as well as their predicted outward growth in various New England locations, is largely due to Tad O’Had’s leadership and passion.  Tad’s nomination stated, “He has an unmatchable work ethic, dedication towards continuous improvement, appreciation for on-going research…and a passion for improving the performance and lives of every athlete that walks in the door,” making him the front runner by John Frappier for the 2007 award.
